This intersection attempts to keep a pair of compatible lanes running at high speed as long as possible. It works best when many trains in a row are going to the same destination.

Currently in use with 2-8 trains in a rail based mega factory containing over 1000 trains that has over 700 hours of play time and has launched over 1500 rockets.

Set 3 of 4 ways and set 2 of 3 ways now include a 10% change to go a different direction as otherwise there was unrealistic behavior in the trains.

For junctions, you only put chain signals at the start and throughout them so the train stops in front of it if whatever pathing chosen isn't free and not mid-junction, which is how deadlocks happen. Regular signals mark the exit.

网页2024年1月4日 · Honestly, cityblock needs 4-way (6-way is better) with feature to change the rail on intersection to all directions. These additianal ways can be used as train enter/exit to/from cityblock. Also, it is better to have left hand traffic, because right hand traffic consumes two additional outside cells for placing semaphores.
