Seems Hermès got it right the first time on Jane Birkins first Birkin bag, but not since. Given the below heritage, it's too bad Hermès wouldn't for a cost add the strap and holes needed.

2009年10月26日 · 1.Purchase the bag and bring it to Hermes for a service, if it's a fake they will refuse to service it. 2.Before purchasing the bag bring it to Hermes to authenticate (but i can't imagine doing this unless you know the seller very well) 3.Ask for original receipt (if there is no serial number, how do we verify the receipt is for the bag)
