Natural Chimneys, known as the Cyclopean Towers in the 19th century, is a natural rock structure located near Mt. Solon in Augusta County, Virginia in the United States, in the Shenandoah Valley.

Didn't know what to expect, but was amazed when we saw them in person. 120 feet tall and 500 million years old. We were in awe. Great place to visit. Magicgal50的完整评论
Are the tent sites out in the open or are they under the trees?

I have seen both. Some sites are shaded, others are open or partial shade. We camp in a Motorhome, not a tent, so this is just from our walks around the park itself.
How steep are the trails to the top of the chimneys? Going for a festival and trying to figure out what shoes to bring.

Sorry, I really don't know. We hiked up to the base of the chimney's but did not hike to the top. We have been there twice and never made it that far. Going back again in October …
